Richard Branson of Virgin Gaming is offering $1 million in online gaming prizes. I signed up to see what is all about and entered to play with my PS3. My initial dissapointment was from the lack of games to choose from and it’s only sporting games, no shooter games.

Then it seems you must wager a bet against other opponents. I’m not sure where the $1 million in gaming prizes comes from cause it cost me a minimum of $20 to even create my account to have a chance to win.

Have you tried the new Virgin Gaming service? What are your thoughts?

Steam allows you to purchase and download games online instead of having to purchase the box version from a retail store.
